AVALON

The Avalon is a white willow coffin woven from our highest quality white willow. It is named after the mystical Isle of Avalon (now known as Glastonbury) which is said to be the burial site of King Arthur.

White willow is produced through traditional processes. No dye is used. This is a natural product, so the colour is not ‘paper white’.

The Avalon can be customised to incorporate other natural willow finishes into the design. Choose from antique buff, barked, buff or steamed. Alternatively, select from our extensive range of hand dyed willow colours.

The Avalon coffin is also available in a traditional shape.

  • Hand woven by a member of our skilled basket making team
  • Willow is grown, graded & hand dyed on our farm
  • Natural processes are used to create white willow
  • Free 'help to weave' service available
