Musgrove Willows has won many awards since the first willow coffin left our workshop around a dozen years ago.

Thanks to the amazing feedback from customers, our skills and expertise have been recognised by numerous organisations. It isn’t just the quality of our coffins which is noteworthy. The knowledge needed to grow the finest willow, the workmanship of our weavers and the outstanding level of customer service have all been recognised. 

The Worshipful Company of Basketmakers

The Worshipful Company of Basketmakers has recognised the willow expertise of Michael Musgrove and made him a Yeoman Member. This prestigious accolade recognises the workmanship and skills of a very select band of craftsmen. There are only 35 members.

The Rural Business Awards

Winner – ‘Best Rural Diversification Project‘ South West 2021/22. Subsequently named national winner.

Winner – ‘Best Rural Retail Business‘ in the prestigious Rural Business Awards 2020/21.

Musgrove Willows was named ‘Family Business of the Year‘ in both the 2021 & 2020 Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards.

Funeral Furnishing Manufacturers’ Association

In 2017, Musgrove Willows received accreditation from the Funeral Furnishing Manufacturers’ Association. Our coffins have passed rigorous testing for weight, strength and environmental impact. The FFMA forms part of the Funeral Suppliers’ Association.
