The Avalon is a white wicker coffin woven from our highest quality white willow. It is named after the mystical Isle of Avalon (now known as Glastonbury) which is said to be the burial site of King Arthur.

White willow is produced through traditional processes. No dye is used. This is a natural product, so the colour is not ‘paper white’.

The Avalon white wicker coffin can be customised to incorporate antique buff, buff, barked, steamed and/or natural dyed coloured willow into the design.

The Avalon coffin is also available in a traditional shape.

  • Hand woven by a member of our skilled basket making team.
  • Our willow is grown, processed and naturally dyed on our farm.
  • Our willow is sustainable, natural & eco-friendly.
  • You are welcome to visit us to help weave the coffin.
