The Moorland coffin is woven from natural barked willow. White, antique buff, steamed or buff willow can be used for the lid and/or handles. This willow coffin is named after a village close to our farm. Moorland was severely damaged during the floods of 2013/14.

The Moorland coffin is one of our most environmentally friendly. Natural barked willow is simply left to dry. Toggles complement the natural feel. If you prefer this coffin in a traditional shape, please see our Wick Moor.

  • Hand woven by a member of our skilled basket making team.
  • Our willow is grown, processed and naturally dyed on our farm.
  • Our willow is sustainable, natural & eco-friendly.
  • You are welcome to visit us to help weave the coffin.
